Meetings and Reminders

Roundtable, a training and learning event, typically occurs the first Thursday of each month.  It begins at 7:30 pm and generally ends around 8:30 pm.  This meeting is open to all registered scout leaders and parents that would like information on meeting planning, sharing of information, resources and the ‘how to’s.’  This meeting is held at St. John Lutheran Church, corner of Oak and Rush streets, in Kendallville. 

Venturing

We are rapidly growing in the number of Venturing Crews in the district. If your church, service club or private organization has a group of young men and women, age 14-20, they have the potential to be a Venturing Crew. The crew could specialize in High Adventure, Shooting Sports, Horsemanship, Swimming, Hiking, Community Service Projects or any project that the Crew Members choose.  It’s a great program; check out www.scouting.org/venturing for more information.
