Adult Training

A cornerstone of the Boy Scout programs is training. There are many opportunities available to youth at various levels to further develop. Some of these trainings will be conducted in your unit; others are available for you to work on by yourself.

BSA National Council provides a variety of materials, from quick references to complete courses, all designed to help our members improve leadership skills and deliver a quality program. Many of the courses can be taken online. A login is required, but anyone may create a user account and view the courses. Registered members of the BSA may provide their member numbers (as part of the user profile) to receive credit. Additional Online training information is located at MyScouting.org.

The Anthony Wayne Area Council provides many live, in-person training opportunities including University of Scouting, Wood Badge, OWL/BALOO Training, and much more.

The districts of Anthony Wayne Area Council also provide many training services in localized settings. These training opportunities can be found on each of the District Pages.
